Dinesh Karthik(38) & Anuj Rawat(48) Batted beautifully and scored 95 runs in just 50 balls for the fifth wicket. RCB had scored a good Total of 173 runs to defend in the first match of CSK Vs RCB IPL 2024.
In the first match of IPL 2024, after winning the toss RCB had decided to bat first. Faf du plessis(35) and Virat Kohli(21) start the innings superbly. But after the fall of the Faf du Plessis wicket, RCB had lost wickets at regular intervals.
At one time RCB had lost five wickets for just 78 runs. At that time Dinesh Karthik and Anuj Rawat both batted superbly.
First Anuj Rawat had started attacking the bowlers, he scored 48 runs in just 25 balls, before he got run out in the last ball of the innings. He had hit four 4’s and three sixers.
Dinesh Karthik also batted to the conditions, he scored 38 runs in 26 balls and proved once again a great finisher.
CSK bowlers Mustafizur Rahman had taken 4 wickets. Ravindra Jadeja bowled economically. The other bowlers gave a lot of runs.
