Australia showed an all-round performance in the first Test Match and Won the Match by 360 runs. Pakistan bowled decently, but could not bat up to the mark. Australia were 1-0 up in the three Test Match series.
There were talks about the form of David Warner before the match, but he proved himself and scored a century in the first innings.
Mitchell Marsh(90 & 63 runs) showed an allround performance with bat and bowl. He was declared as the Man of the Match.
Australian bowlers bowled superbly in both the innings.
Nathon Lyon had taken 5 wickets in both innings with which he had completed 501 wickets in the Test Matches. He is the third bowler to take 500 plus wickets in Test Matches for Australia. Before him Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath were taken.
On the Fourth Day second innings of Pakistan, there were bowled out for just 89 runs. Babar Azam as disappointed in both innings. Only a single fifty by a Pakistani batsman in both innings.
